Comments
Comments: Trail was broken out to summit. Hiked with Bob, Dick, Fran, and Dave. #96/100 Winter NEHH. With the very warm conditions our snow shoes chewed up the trail...post-holing with snow shoes!! Trail bed is now full of ruts and deep holes. We were breaking though up to 1-2 feet with snow shoes. With colder weather and possibly snow the trail conditions will improve. You may have better footing by hiking with snow shoes on unbroken snow along side the trail. Good luck.
