Hiked with my dog and a friend and her dog. Dogs did great navigating icy sections. Didn't need help at all but did have to slow down a couple times to figure out the best path. |

We love Pico. The Sherburne Pass trail was really icy in sections but had no trouble with spikes and poles. The Link Trail was very very icy and dangerous in sections. Lots of tree hugging and we chose to take the 49er ski trail down to Summit Glades rather than risk the Link trail again. Gorgeous hike though and so worth it! |
