Great trail up to the summit. There is a nice observation tower with 360 degree views of the mountains into VT. I have never hiked this mountain but would definitely go back to explore some more trails. We started out very early so we did hit some "hard" ice which we were able to get around. On the way down we put on our traction to make it easier to get down…by that time the ice was softer and easier to grip with the spikes. The ice shouldn't last much longer. |
