Parked at the winter lot for the Monroe trail. 3rd car there at 7:30am. Lots fairly busy but not overly packed when we got back to the car at 1. |

The trails were all unusually dry. The usual water crossings are never bad but on this hike they were very low |

My Maggie "Grublet" loves this hike. She is only 30 pounds and has short legs and has never needed help on any of the sections we hike here. She is an experienced hiking dog though. We encountered a couple other dogs along the hike... all friendly |
