Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail is in great shape... Mud is even drying up a little.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: This trail in this area is a challenge for dogs... Lots of ladders and other obstacles to tackle so make sure they are agile enough to handle it. It's very dry so bring water for them.

Lost and Found: Nothing here.

Comments
Comments: Why climb a mountain in one day when you can climb it in two days? The SOBO approach to Camel's Hump is a very long process... We stayed at Bamforth Ridge Shelter at one of the tent platforms to break it up. Once you break tree line, it still looks to be a million miles away... So worth the hike though as you get plenty y of time above tree line. A few tricky places to get over but if you take your time, it's so worth it. I am happy to say that I have closed the gap only LT miles and we are set to go from Smug's to Canada in 2017!
