Comments
Comments: Did an interesting and varied hike up Vermont's second-highest peak today. The trails were nice and lush down low, with a lot of colorful fall foliage. Once into the spruce, the trails, particular around Cooper Lodge, were wet with some slick footing. The summit was cold and quite windy- it was fun battling the gusts! Lots of people enjoying VT's finest on a nice fall day. A great hike in the Green Mountain State.
