Used Castle Rock lift area going up, no snow making so limited snow cover and ice. On the ridge there was very little ice or old snow. Saw one group of 3 guys going each direction and a large group on top of Abraham, that I blew through gently and headed back to the closest lift. I headed down the snow making, some areas were soft but I ended up putting my spikes because of some hard frozen area and slid my way down the hill. I saw some employees on the way and just waved and they waved back. Things will change once the area is in operation but for the moment all is good. |
