Up to a foot of snow. The snow was wet and sticky which helped with traction up the steeper areas. Visibility was zero at the top of the trailhead. Deep drifts up top.
We descended on Sunset Ridge trail postholeing over knee deep snow. We turned around due to no visibility and we lost trail. We backtracked to Laura Cowles and had a slippery descent with sleet coming down. |
