Comments
Comments: The water was flowing heavy in the streams and down the rocks, like I have never seen before. Massive melt off as far up as the false peak. I hiked bare booted most of the way up Sunset with only occasional ice areas to tip toe through. My crampons stayed on permanently near the false peak where a thin ice covered most exposed rock with bits of deep wet snow to maneuver through. The winds were strong up top, and the visibility was terrible. Great hike, no slips or falls and I definitely was pushed out of my comfort zone.
