Comments
Comments: Started up about 8 and had the trail and summit to myself except on the way down, there were two skiers that stopped by the shelter. I barebooted the first mile or so, then switched over to snowshoes the entire rest of the hike. Coming back I could have easily barebooted the last part again, but didn't want to stop to strap them back on my bag...I know, lazy! Looked like there had been one other person who had hiked the same trail in the last day or so. There was about 2-3 inches of fresh snow over their tracks and it snowed, the entire hike, though most of the time it was a very light snow. Gorgeous day out on the mountains!!! One more 4k' to do in Vermont!
