Comments
Comments: Arrived at trail head around 8:30am. First and only car in the parking area. No other hikers seen all day. Used Micros for first mile and changed to snowshoes beyond that basically to improve traction as the fresh powder hit about 6-7". There are a few steep sections, but very manageable w/o any need to scramble.
