Comments
Comments: First ones on the trail this morning and it was clear that no one has been on this trail in a few days. Trail started off easy to follow with about an inch or two of fresh snow. About a half mile in we started encountering drifts of snow and the trail became much harder to follow -- had to rely on a GPS track. We got about halfway to the Chin, near the cross country ski trails when we just called it and turned back. The snow was pretty deep at this point and it was already 1pm. Whoever is up there next will have some trailbreaking to do to reach Taft Lodge and beyond.
