Parking/Access Road Notes: No auto access to the Griffith Lake trailhead or normal parking on FR21. Only the winter lot a mile down Mad Tom Notch road from the LT/AT is open.

Comments
Comments: Great hike, though the official GMC loop description may underestimate mileage. Some technical descents on loose powder, but otherwise not too difficult. The Peru Peak lean-to is clear and structurally sound, with packed snow around it.
