Comments
Comments: Bucklin trail is in very good condition. First 2 miles are flat and barebootable and you could get away with not needing any traction all the way to Cooper Lodge. Having light traction to the lodge is recommended. Warm day and the snow was melting so the lower section will be icy when it refreeezes. Snowshoes are overkill but glad we wore the crampons for the last section from Cooper to the summit. Someone had buttslide this section and was tougher going back down than up. Once this freezes crampons will be a must.
