Other than a few slick rocks on Sunset Ridge and an occasional wet spot; this loop (up Maple Ridge & down Sunset Ridge) was in fine shape. Many hikers out (caretaker count in the 600's at 3:00) so Emerel and myself took our time enjoying much friendly conversation with several hikers throughout a beautiful day of hiking. Always has been my favorite loop on Mansfield on account of all the open hiking. |
