Alex (state trail crew) had told me about how the trails here had become much wider the last few years. No exaggeration. Beaten paths to avoid puddles, rocks, roots and even installed rock steps. Always disappointing to see the hard work put into rock steps being bypassed for ones idea of an easier grade. They've fenced some areas for revegetation. Quick after work hike from Pinnacle Meadows lot found trails a mix of dry trail or tacky mud which is enjoyable walking through. Busy trails for a Friday night. |
