left NH early to get ahead of the crowds..first in the lot at the trailhead around 8 am..filled up almost upon return so looks like parking at the beach would be taking effect.. |

trails in great shape..really liked the unique ladders and bridges and hand rails on Ridge Trail.. |

Finally got to hike Franco's home mt and was not disappointed! A good almost 4 mile loops with some climbing and rocky footing on Tower Trail..Balancing Rock is a mini Glen Boulder though not above treeline..Ridge Trail has good footing and was a pleasure to hike down..think I would like to camp here and hike the area mountains in the future!! |
