One big blowdown about a mile into the hike. Need to walk around it. |

Didn’t have a dog with us but did see one on the trail. |

| Comments: |
Did this one with Monica and the Random Group of Hikers. The trails were fall-like down low and winter-like up high. Managed to bare boot all but the final 50 feet as we approached the summit. Put spikes in there and kept them on until getting back to the snow line down low. The mud had thawed as the day went on and was actually slicker than the ice. |
