||clear--moderately full when i started, and finished mid-day; a couple cars on the road |

||excellent. recent clearing of blowdowns, as well as new puncheons on early segments.
||a few having a fine, enthusiastic time. |
|Lost and Found:
||fairly dry to start with increasing ice and trace snow until significant ice leading up to the sign below the vista; from there mostly ice covered segments alternating with some bare rock. a few were managing without and traction, but micros strongly recommended for upper stretches of trail.|
long views to Lincoln mtn and Jay with a peel at 'Dacks. overcast became more dense throught the day. but, always good to get back to old regulars.
