Comments
Comments: I walked the road to the crosing of the North Fork, North Branch Lamoille river. I avoided some posted land and began following the river up the drainage, using roads to make progress. Soon I hit a major road and progressed on that. I turned up towards the ridge earlier than I would have liked and followed it over a false bump, along some flats, and up to the recognized highpoint which I was able to improve.

The woods were very open. I only needed to pick my path at the very top, where there were some tighter snowloaded areas.

Snow at the base was about 6" unpacked. Higher up snow was quite deep and trail breaking was very tough. I had hopped to get the sw peak, but the trailbreaking was too much to launch another bushwhack.
