Trail is well-packed, at least the first mile anyway (likely all the way, since nearby Ellen is the same). Crossed a couple descending, who were barebooting and had turned around at the Battell Lodge due to cold and high winds. I turned around about one mile up due to persistent chest pain, likely due to breathing cold air the past few days (will have it looked at nonetheless). Decided it best to play things safe. |
