| Comments: |
Laura Cowles was well packed and relatively easy to follow to the top. Snow and sleet started to pelt down as i approached the trail junction with Sunset Ridge. Visibility and the wind were also getting worse so I skipped the summit and broke trail through alot of deep drifts down the Sunset connector toward the west chin area. Going down the Sunset ridge was a mix of ice covered rock and deep drifts, and once off the ridgeline the trail was well used/packed. Snowshoes highly recommended. |
