Pico's lifts have been closed for a few weeks, but the snowmaking trails are still pretty well covered; ski area could be open top to bottom today if they wanted. I snowshoed up Pike, then descended KA. Quite a few skiers out earning their turns. Not much natural snow left down low, but still some snowpack in the woods on the upper half of the mountain. Man made trails still have 1-2 feet of base. |
