| Comments: |
The approach up to the Battell Shelter is wet with lots of wet rocks, and some minor mud. The higher up on the LT you get, the less mud you'll experience. I didn't wear gaiters, and was okay; nothing that deep. The shelter is decent, the caretaker is there now ($5/night), and the water source is running. We filtered, but the water looked a little dingy still. There's a picnic table near the shelter, and space for 2-3 tents nearby. |
