It was a nice day on the trail. Sunny with some haze, so visibility was down to around 30 miles, but you could spot Lake Champlain well enough. What I didn't see "out yonder" was made up for in near-distance: wildflowers in abundance near the ski lift on Mt Lincoln. Wow, there were a lot in all sorts of colors.
There were a couple very insignificant mud puddles here and there, but not really worth writing about. Other than that, the trail was in fine shape overall.
