The Charles W. Ward Reservation is located 25 miles North of Boston in the Andovers. It has a lot to offer the casual hiker and those who want conditioning to expand their hiking experience in the future. The 700 acre reservation's trails are well groomed and marked. It offers views toward the Northshore and Boston. The trails today were icy in the more exposed areas and I would recommened light traction. In the wooded and covered areas snow and ice. Light traction end to end. |
