Trails: Cheshire Harbor Trail, Appalachian Trail, Gould Trail, Peck's Brook Loop
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Monday, June 24, 2013
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at dead end of W Mountain Road. If you are unfamiliar with this trailhead you might find that Google or mapquest will try to get you there from the south on W Mountain Road. You can't get there because the road does not go through. You need to approach the trailhead from the north. No one else at trailhead when we got there, two other cars when we got back.

Water Crossing Notes: No problems
Trail Maintenance Notes

Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: No problems. There were bugs around but either they weren't hungry or the repellent worked. I used Natrapel (picaradin) and Kergama used DEET.

Comments
Comments: HOT day, but nice breezes as we approached summit. Memorial at top closed for renovation, so we could not go up to the observation deck. Views were hazy anyway.
