 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Spotted a car at Wachusett Village Inn. Plenty of room there. Parked other car at Wachusett Ski Area, also plenty of room. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |

 | Recommended Equipment: |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
One minor easy crossing. The brooks were dry today at two other crossings. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of stepovers that did not cause a problem. A little brushing needed north of Crow Hills but not serious yet. A lot of the yellow painted triangles are faded and it might be time to refresh them, although I noticed a lot of new plastic yellow triangles (they have the website on them). There are several new plastic triangles where the trail has got obscured by logging activity, which is very helpful. |

 | Comments: |
About a 5.8 mile section of the Midstate trail from Wachusett Ski Area to Rt 2. Rained a good part of the trip. Spotted a couple of red-tailed hawks a few miles apart that we observed for a while as they sat in trees. |
