Parked on the side of Holt Rd. in Ashburnham, where the Mid-State goes back in the woods. Some sort of construction happening next door, and the trailhead currently has a pad and electrical hookup for the construction trailer that was there (gone now). Not too attractive. :( |

Third of a three hike day, this one on the way home from the other two. A quick trip (one mile each way) to the outlook ledge on Mt. Hunger, a 1435' peak on the Mid-State. I raced the setting sun to get out there, but arrived in time for a nice view across Stodge Meadow Pond toward Mt. Watatic. |
