 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I started from river road, up the dunbar brook, then attacked the mountain from the north, moving southward - trailhead is off the Raycroft road. If you want to hit this from the north, park beyond bridge, hike uphill look for trailhead on the R before the first turn in the road. Raycroft is advised for high-clearance vehicles only. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail sorely needs re-blazing. Trail has been well-cleared of ice storm damage, but heavy foliage growth obfuscates trail path in many places, making for many ponderous moments. |

Good for those with an adventurous spirit. Wear long pants, as thorny raspberry bushes cover the path in many places. Other than one outlook on the north side, the summit is wooded and vista-free. A keen eye works best, but bring a map and compass to be sure. The roads back down towards the lean-to from the south side are cleared and well-trodden, but not really blazed - bring a map. |
