Area mowed near gate to town water tank, room for a few vehicles. Posted signs nearby, but I don't believe those apply to hikers staying on trail. |

One minor stepover blowdown near the bench on the lower part of the trail. |

A deer fly for a little while, otherwise minimal. |

Followed access road to the fire department water tank, then continued on the trail from there to the summit - dry and in good shape. Superb views from the fieldstone firetower. |
