Best trail map is here http://www.nemba.org/images/maps/twnsndsf.gif even though it's bike-oriented
Selective DCR-sanctioned logging ops in northeast quadrant (east of Fessenden Hill Road).
Trails are not marked or blazed - bring topo map and compass/gps. Some trail offshoots deadend.
I tracked the entire perimeter of the forest, roughly 7 miles.
There are a couple of trails that have blazes, but it's unclear where the start/endpoints are.
Trail in NE quadrant across NH line is probably not extant - there are two housing developments in this territory now. Use the southerly one.
Excellent for hiking and MTB.
Use caution after October 1st - Hunting is allowed.
