| Comments: |
The Cheshire Harbor Trail was well packed from the base to the junction with the AT and Rockwell Rd, with some patches of ice here and there. The AT from there to the Rockwell Rd/Notch Rd/Gould Trail junction was tracked, but not consolidated very well. (This section can be bypassed by walking Rockwell Rd, which parallels it.) The AT from there to the summit was more consolidated. Light traction did the trick. Snowshoes stayed in the car. It looks like some winter weather is heading this way in the next couple days, so snow conditions could change somewhat. |
