Parking/Access Road Notes: Rt. 20 - circle at the end of Old Worcster Rd., near the Cow Tunnel. Rte. 9 - Spencer Country Inn, by the Driving Range, near Spencer-Leicester Town Line.

Water Crossing Notes: None to speak of.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A number of relocations just this year, esp. in Spencer. THey were clearly blazed.

Dog-Related Notes: No dogs in the Audubon Preserve through which the last mile south of Rte. 9 passes.

Comments: Hills of Spencer, Midstate Trail - Rte. 20 to Rte. 9. This 12+ mile stretch goes through Charlton - lots of history - and Spencer - more rural and with many nice hills covered with mountain laurel.
