 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We scored a spot at the first lot on S. Border Road, by Bellevue Pond, after 10 am on a Saturday morning. Somebody must just have left. There are always plenty of spaces at the lots farther along S. Border Road. |

|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Not so many on the Skyline Trail, which is the only real hiking trail in the Western Fells and rocky in places, but plenty elsewhere. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Annoying little midges for a while around 2 pm on the west side of the Reservoirs. Just keep moving and I don't think they bite. |

Wright Tower/Pine Hill; Wenepoykin Hill; Silver Mine Hill; Gerry Hill; Winthrop Hill; Money Hill; Grinding Rock Hill; Nanepashemet Hill
The 8-mile Skyline Trail hits about every highpoint in the Western Middlesex Fells. Just 8 miles but over 1.5K vertical, which is lot for the Flatlands. |
