 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were rock-hop-able except Thoreau River, where I had to wade (bridge is closed). Water came up to my thighs but was not too fast. May have been a better place to cross but I didn't look too hard. |

A few blowdowns, no blazes on the Thoreau Falls trail but not too hard to follow. |

Hancock Notch to Thoreau Falls
This was day 1 of a 3-day loop. Didn't see anyone all day after leaving the parking lot. Thoreau Falls trail was extremely beautiful and remote. |
