Area mowed near gate to town water tank, room for a few vehicles. Posted signs nearby, but I don't believe those apply to hikers staying on trail. |

Near Shelburne Falls, MA. 1-2" of new, wet snow on the trail, melting quickly. Some 6" deep patches in the shade, but nothing nearly significant enough to warrant snowshoes. Some minor mud and water on the trail from snow melt, but nothing too bad. |
