Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nice bog bridge in Farnsworth.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Good signage. Some areas where Bog bridges could be made more permanent along the town farm section. Thanks to ans Essex county Greenbelt Assoc.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Well-behaved dogs with considerate owners (nothing to step in!).
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a geocache that was a little too visible. Tucked it in so it wasn't showing right from the trail.
Comments: Town Farm - pleasant straight walk through the woods. If you start from the baseball end, you need waterproof boots! Town of North Andover has a ropes course just off this trail. Would not think of using it with the present crisis. Trail ends on South Bradford St. Directly across is the herd path entrance to Farnsworth Reservation. Or turn left and head 300 ft down the road to the official entrance, which has a kiosk. This is a loop that has a few short trails leading off to various nearby neighborhoods. This walk actually has elevation gain and loss. Very pretty forest, nice vernal pools, and an outlook on a beautiful open field.

Thanks to Friends of North Andover Trails and Essex County Greenbelt Association.
