Comments
Comments: This is a beautiful property that originally belonged to the Veasey family and eventually bought by the town of Groveland. The driveway parallels a small woods bordering a beautiful pond. There is a path which is a few hundred yards long that will take you from the lot to the pondside trail. This tiny path is called the Link. All you flatlanders who are dutifully staying in Mass while the virus rages can have some fun and tell all your friends you did the Link in 5 easy minutes. All kidding aside, this is a great place! If you liked Mazerenko Farm (see our report from two weeks ago) you will LOVE this! Great huge open hill with views as well as a shore line walk. There was a observation platform at the pond, but we would have had to walk a few feet into the pond to get to it; I think the level is high do to rain, etc. Maybe it is more accessible at other times. Info says the hill is popular in winter for sledding.
