An 8-car lot on Holmes Rd. adjacent to a private residence. We got next to last spot at 11 am. Trail sign had lengthy posting noting that Farley Ledges was closed to climbing due to COVID-19. |

fabulously marked M-M trail. The red trail to Farley Ledges is a rock climbing trail and the junction was marked but we didn't take it. |

Gnats were out and biting if you stopped, otherwise the breeze kept them away. |

Metacomet-Monadnock Tr section 16
Lovely find not far from Boston so we can get a little gain and keep the legs at least a little limber until our favorite northern zones reopen. We did the Hermit Castle trail loop. Reportedly Northfield Mtn. trails are also on a COVID-19 closure. Lovely view from outlook and trails were very well-marked. |
