Mount Washington Road was being regraded today, and it was a mess. Should be done soon though. Two parking areas at the trail head. I was the only one there at 9:45. One other in the lot at 12:30. |

Trail blazes look new. Thanks! There are a couple of trees across the trail in the section between the parking area and the first ascent...both duck-unders. Another one on the climb up Frissell. Easy to walk over. |

Encountered a large rattlesnake about halfway up the climb to Frissell. We parted ways without incident. |
