Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I didn't use the parking lots on either end but parked on Mt Mineral Road. There are parking areas on Cooleyville Rd, this one holds 4-5 cars at best, and fewer cars at the northern end at Rockwell Road. The interactive NEST map doesn't show either of these lots.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There were three. The one just north of Cooleyville Road now has a log bridge, and the two crossings about 1/3 mile north of Cooleyville Road were easy. At high water these two can be very tricky.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I want to thank the crew that maintains this section of the NEST. I hike this section several times per year and I appreciate that the blazes have been re-painted and the section from Sibley Swamp to New Boston Road is now far easier to follow than it had been.
Dog-Related Notes

Comments
Comments: I appreciate the signage and re-blazing that this section has received. I've hiked the NEST from Monadnock (yes the trail in NH is still the M&M) to Tarrifville, CT. It's s great trail that travels through some very nice areas. Check out Sibley Swamp.
