Both the Ayer Greenway Trails (blazed in orange to the west of Groton-Harvard Rd. and blue to its east) and the Autumn Ridge Farm trails (blazed in white) are easy to follow. Improvisation and road-walking were required for the rest. |

The description of "Ayer Conservation Lands" in the AMC Trail Guide (9th Ed.) is obsolete by many years, it appears. It describes trails lost to development and doesn't describe new ones that have partially replaced them. |
