Comments: Asquam ridge trail was in great shape for skis up to where it met the al Merrill and even higher up to the pass near Mount Jim. Al Merrill trail proper had been bare-booted by some miscreant(s), leaving post holes up to knee deep, making descent rather hazardous. The photo shows what a complete mess the trail is in.
