Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking lot is a sheet of ice. Might be difficult for some cars.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: All small and easy to step over 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: NA. Trail is in good shape as it is frozen for winter. More snow expected tomorrow night. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Can be easy for dogs. Due to recent ice storm, I left mine at home. Trail is super icy so, make sure your dog can handle winter conditions.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw some gloves and done poles at the kiosk. 
 
Comments
Comments: Nice 3.5 mile loop covering all the bases on the Midstate trail. Watatic, South peak, Nutting Hill, and down to the parking lot. Blue bird day, trail is solid but choppy. This will change with snow tomorrow night. All in all a good day.
