1) bottom half of my REI hiking pole fell somewhere on the trail. Probably useless to fix but LMK if you locate it and I’ll pay you to throw it away, in the spirit of LNT.
2) someone’s purple scarf remains at the summit, same as three weeks ago. |

Perfect spike conditions - my snowshoes went for a ride. Crystal blue skies and minimal wind, yay! Only saw 3 parties all day. Did an out and back on the longer part of the usual loop, making it 5.4 mi RT/1600’ gain; trying to stay in NH peak shape for when COVID ends. Love seeing Monadnock, Stratton, Snow and Greylock from the fire tower. |
