Comments
Comments: We only got as far as Whiting Peak on the way and then on the way back walked one of the old roads back to where a side trail gave us access to the NET and skipped some of the up and down. Had we completed the hike and walked back over all the sub-peaks, this hike would have about 2,000 feet of vertical gain to reach a 1,202 ft. peak. We stopped as an adult was feeling lightheaded and most of us were low on water or would be if we continued. Weather was hot and humid. May try this again in cooler fall weather.
