Comments
Comments: I wanted a couple of hours in the woods since I got up too late to make it to the Whites. The Merrimack River trail still had around 6" of snow in most areas and has been mosty packed out by skiers and hikers. I wore snowshoes just to get my body used to them but the trail could be easily barebooted.

This is a really nice underused trail that starts behind the Marriott in Andover. You can do about 10 miles if you go out and back end to end. We did about 7.5 miles total and only passed one trail runner during our couple of hours of hiking.
