Parking/Access Road Notes: we parked at unmarked pulloff at edge of field at end of Mountain Road in South Deerfield. Trailhead not marked, we used a gps app

Trail Maintenance Notes: awkward tree down over extremely steep section of trail up to North Sugarloaf - considered throwing it off the trail but was afraid that it might aid someone else's ascent - very awkward

Comments
Comments: Very interesting little mountain range - never had been. Interesting view tower and infrastructure at top of South Sugarloaf - no views because it was too foggy but we could occasionally see the Connecticut River valley below. Total mileage about 3.5, around 800' elev total. No views from N Sugarloaf but woods were super pretty.
