Comments
Comments: The trail is blazed in red and marked with the BCT markers on trees. I do not recall frequency. Maybe a bit obscure with leaves on the ground but still not really hard to follow. I don't think the trail was signed at its jct with the trails by Wheeler Ln. There might have been a sign for the BCT off Carlisle Rd where I started.

When I redlined the loop from Wheeler Ln last year, I very foolishly left off this "spur" which is also part of the Bay Circuit Trail (BCT). Today I parked at the small parking area on Carlisle Rd and did an OAB on it. Though the guidebook has it at 0.5mi, I think it's closer to 0.7mi. Trail was dry and still some nice foliage and views of the pond. Flat. Gai had me at 1.4mi, 23ft of gain, 30min.
